North Harbour Science Fair Prizegiving.

This is a reminder for Lexi Bernstein, Ben Gibson, Elisabeth Jukes, Amy Bonalack, Jonathan Rashef and Maddison Bullock that they are to attend the North Harbour Science and Technology prize giving tonight at 7.00pm at Birkdale Intermediate. You must wear your school uniform.

Break times - A reminder for staff and students

Morning tea starts at 10.25, Lunch starts at 12.25, the end of the day is at 3.00pm. All of these times coincide with music over the speaker system.

No students should be released from class before these times.

Please ensure these standards are maintained.

Tomorrow, you may wear your beauty and the beast t shirt, and pants of your choice, with shoes of your choice. You are allowed to wear this for the whole day - so wear it to school.

Remember to bring in a memory stick for photos :)

 

Attention all touch rugby players!

If you are a boy or girl and you are interested in playing touch rugby for the school in term 4 on a Thursday night, please come to Room 3 straight after these notices. Make sure you bring a pen!!

Early next term, we will be sending 2 or 3 teams to an Interschool Golf Zone Day. Mr Lloyd would like to meet any students, girls or boys, who have an interest in golf. Please see him in Room 27 this week.

MBITV Year 7s

In term 4, Mr Lloyd will be running another Day T training course for interested Year 7 students for MBITV. This is especially for students who missed out last term due to conflicts with other activities such as Production. Please see Mr Lloyd in Room 27 this week to ensure you can be included in this Day T. Mr Lloyd would also like to meet Year 7 students who are interested in learning to run the TV studio next year.

 

Friday is Kiwiathon testing day. Remember to learn the answers to your questions. If you are still stuck, your teachers will give you some clues to help you before Friday. Try doing some buddy testing today to see how many you do know.

Summer Hockey

Any students interested in playing summer hockey should download the entry form from the Harbour Hockey website. You must organise your teams yourselves and have one of parents manage the team.

 

Practice today is in session 3 after morning interval.

Production: Please listen very carefully!

Tomorrow is the very last day you can bring in your money and permission slip for the movie trip on Thursday. Please deliver to the red box in Room 16. If you are not coming on the trip, come to Production in the hall as usual and Mrs Herbert will tell you what classroom you will be going to for the morning.

On Thursday you are allowed to wear your Beauty and the Beast T-Shirt and Jeans. If you don't have a t-shirt you will need to wear your school uniform. You MUST wear your beauty and the beast t-shirt, you may not wear another mufti top.

Also - if you want production photos please bring in a memory stick with your name and room number on it and Mrs Herbert will copy all of the images onto it. Make it no smaller than 2Gig.

Remember to collect your memory stick the following day!

Did you know that in Africa poor babies leave hospital wrapped in newspaper because their families have no clothes for them?

Do you want to help? Do you want to learn to knit at the same time. Mrs Strand is running Knitting for Africa in Day T - block 3. You will learn the basic skills of knitting and we will be working on blankets and beanies to send over to South Africa.
